Plans are now under way to bring the Sussex Marathon to the county in April next year.

The final route is still being planned and we are in the process of securing the support and approval of the appropriate authorities. However, we anticipate the course covering many of the rural and urban areas of East Sussex focusing on Battle and Bexhill-on-Sea. We hope to include much of the stunning scenery to be found on this delightful part of the Sussex coast as well as some of its iconic landmarks.

We are also including a shorter distance, with a 10K race for those who wish to savour the Marathon atmosphere. And we are also introducing a Team Relay Challenge with entries available for groups of four individuals to cover the marathon distance in four legs.
