the Sussex Marathon

Event Details & Course

The final approved course is now live.  After 13 miles runners return to the Start / Finish HQ (half marathon athletes finish here) then marathon runners head out into the lanes again and complete a different part of the course down to Vines Cross before heading back through Rushlake Green in the opposite direction to the first lap.  This run is stunning and scenic, it is also hilly, therefore it will be a challenging run and one you will be very proud off.  Hill training will be important!

The races will both start together at 9:30am.

The 2012 new course has been agreed by the local authorities and police and will have partial road closures.

2012 will also see the Sussex Half Marathon joining the full distance, so if you don't fancy the full distance sign up for the half.

The Full marathon has a 1000 entry limit and a 500 limit on the half so enter quick, these marathons fill very quickly!

Please visit the entry page for entry links.
